Hello, and welcome – I’m so glad to have you!
What is a KAL?
KAL – or Knit-A-Long is a group activity or community project where all knitters are working the same pattern at the same time. It is a great way to work a pattern with the support of other knitters, and we are there to guide you every step of the way!
The important bits:
We will be knitting the Misurina tee by Caitlyn Hunter.
KAL runs from 24 Sept until 31 Oct
Here is a guide on the pattern broken down per week: (Only a guide, we work at our own pace)
Preparation – Gauge swatching, patternyarn purchases and determining which needles to be done in prep for Cast on.
Week 1: Sept 24 – Cast on, Collar, Short rows and ending before the yoke chart.
Week 2 & 3 Oct 1 – Work yoke chart and separate body and sleeves
Week 4: 15 Oct – Work the purl dots or eyelet chart for desired body length, work hem ribbing
Week 5: 22 Oct – Work both sleeves, work in ends, block and enjoy your tee!
I look forward to having you join me!
